To achieve its competitiveness in the market, the Ford Truckload program utilizes reduced packaging costs, in combination with discounted list prices, and passes the savings on to
collision repair shops that purchase the parts from participating Ford and Lincoln Mercury dealers.
The 34 parts added to the Truckload program, and the respective average list-price reductions include: one wheel (-37.2 percent); four tail lamps (-33.0 percent); two mirrors (-29.2 percent); three grilles (-15.6 percent); eight fascias (-14.9 percent); two radiators (-14.6 percent); 10 headlamps (-9.6 percent); and four steel bumpers (-8.0 percent).
